About Us
We began Alston Coaches with the idea of providing a luxurious and safe experience to refresh the landscape of transportation for Melbourne. Having examined the bus industry in Melbourne, all we saw were white buses with basic features and seats, and a clear lack of options for coorperations, schools and people when traveling. Beginning in 2007 as a small bus operator, as a family-run business, we wanted to imbue our values of personalisation, inclusivity and professionalism.
Our mission to make Alston Coaches unique meant we had to be creative and innovative with the design, livery and features of our growing fleet. We crafted our iconic stormy grey coating for our fleet, a staple of comfortable, reliable and safe transport, but we had big ambitions to grow as a company whilst maintaining our core family values. Our heavily client-focused model means only the best, personalised experiences where we strive to cater to your needs and requirements.
Our reputation as a diverse team, built up through family values, hopes to continue growing, particularly with our passion for environmental conservation and preservation. Looking to the exciting future ahead, we have aimed to reach zero carbon emmissions by 2025, with the testing and trialling of electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles in our fleet.
